Right finally the vans ready for its first use and our first camping trip however myself and the mrs are already arguing of where to go! Lol....so many places but just wondered if anyone can recommend anywhere? Where based in East Yorkshire and don't want to travel miles for the first time camping approx a hour ish drive but wouldn't mind having some entertainment on site such as bar,club?

Thanks Leon I looked at them but they seem very expensive in the region of £130 for two of us for two nights? Is that the going rate?

i stopped at reighton sands last oct for 56 quid for a week also stopped at haggerson castle in march 56 quid for a week

Brookside at Burton upon Stather, its on the banks of the Trent, its a rearly nice clean site, not too far for you. No clubhouse, but a lovely pub on the banks of the river.

If I was up that end of the country I would be booking tickets for Oulton Park for the 1st weekend in June ....... £102 from friday lunchtime til monday lunchtime and you get to watch the British Touring Cars
