iI know it's probably far too late to book but does anyone know of any vacancies , North Yorkshire, Northumberland, or about a couple of hours from sunderland for a motorhome with a dog, small site with fishing on would be ideal a CL would be ok as long as it has electric hook up. Thought hubby had to work but now free last minute but cannot seem to book anywhere. All suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

Stonebridge Fishing Lakes CL near Northallerton, would that be any good? a bit basic, but has ehu and I think a loo and shower, although we didn't use them.

Don't know about a tent site.

Have you looked on the campsite search at the top of the page? If you select "last minute pitches " from the options below the search bar then pick your selected area, there are still a few that have availability for next weekend. Hopefully the weather will be good.

For North East, Tent NO electric, Middlewood Farm, Robin Hoods Bay, no booking required, just turn up, same with Hooks Farm, same place, not far apart, nice sites. Also , try Vale of Pickering, really great site and should be ok if you don't need electric, huge tent field, extra to main site, Motorhome, needing electric, not sure. We wanted to go to Northumberland this Bank Holiday and just got booked up at Hadrians Wall Camping and Caravan site, tent no electric, Good luck
