Having just had my Membership to the CCC expire we have found a site belonging to the Caravan club which we would like to use being close to friends.

Before we join the club I have had a quick look at it's prices for the period we want to stay and it quotes

Adult: £8.10 Child (5-17):£2.80 Pitch: £9.90 Per Night

So for us that's £28.90 plus any extras like the dog per night.... wow

However what it doesn't explain is the price difference between members and non-members or is it the same price because it only shows the one figure ???

None members pay an extra £10 a night. Plus if it is a CC site there are no extras.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

Derek, you may want to compare the C&CC Certificated Sites locations with the Caravan Club's Certificated Locations locations. There may be more sites with one of the Clubs  in areas you want to visit. Bear in mind that the Caravan Club CLs often don't have toilets because caravan folks use their on-board facilities, whereas C&CC includes tent campers so their CSs are far more likely to have a toilet. (In my experience, may well be different from others' of course.)

You don't pay for dogs, awnings or hook upon CC sites, nor do they charge for showers.
