Hi. I'm looking for a site that has an enforced late night noise policy but id like a site with a pool & it needs to be family friendly. I cant seem to be able to tick all boxes. Ideally Cornwall but happy to give any area a try. Can anyone help?

I think you'll struggle to find quiet sites as most with pools are holiday park types. But as you've had no replies I'll post my suggestions which are wild cards. I know of a couple of sites that are next to holiday parks where campers can use the facilities. One is Sea Barn Farm near Weymouth in Dorset. The other is even further from Cornwall; I can't remember the name but I know there is a campsite next to 'Sandy Balls' on the edge of the New Forest (I think it's just about in Dorset as well). It might give you another angle from which to continue your search.

Sorry I was going to reccomend the Carlyon site, however looking back at my review there were the odd unruly teenagers been well tennagers, otherwise it is generally quiet by 10.30 lovely pools and nice surroundings with lots to do in the area.

Had an issue with one member of staff/owner female but it could have been one of those days, I still reccomended to friend and she loved it, this year we are going to Trewan Hall, looks lovely with pool etc, judging by the reviews this would be ideal for a family holiday without the kiss me quick hat atmosphere.

Sounds like you are after the similar campsite experience as we are. We've booked a little site in Cornwall called Wheal Rodney. This will be our first visit this August so can't really comment from personal experience but it gets very good reviews and the staff there have been excellent when we have spoken on the phone.

The site is quite small but they have their own indoor pool, the reviews on UKCS are very good and say that it is a really nice quiet site.

July 2015 - Manorafon 4 nights
August 2015 - Piccadilly Caravan park 3 nights

A friend recommended Appuldurcombe Gardens, on the isle of wight, again no personal experience and pool is outdoor.

Thanks everyone for taking time to reply. After lots of research I booked Carlyon Bay in Cornwall. They had a cancellation in August so I nabbed it. It looks great and the reviews are generally very good. I did read your review Youlbury which was a little worrying but hopefully that's a one off. I looked at Wheal Rodney RichJean&Ellie, also looks very nice. Lets hope the sun is shining this August

Yes, here's to a sunny August!

We stayed at Carlyon Bay in August 2011, it's a a nice site which is very well run. But just beware of a couple of things. There tends to be a lot of families stay there and when we stayed there were a lot of kids in their early teens, all fairly well behaved but they did all tend to congregate together and did get a bit noisy at times, nothing bad but a lot of running round the campsite shouting etc. It did tend to quieten down after 11pm though. They also have entertainment every other night, not having a bar this never got rowdy but was a bit loud sometimes as our pitch was only about 100 yards away, however the entertainment was always finished by 9.30pm, I think this was what excited the teenagers as they all met up afterwards!

Don't let any of this put you off though, we tend to like the quieter sites but we enjoyed the week we spent there.

Nowhere near where you said but Lincoln Farm near Witney in Oxford ticks all your boxes.

Hi,

I would recommend Tregarton Park in Cornwall. It has a outdoor heated pool and a play park which the gates close at 9pm or 10pm cant remember. This seems to act as an automatic curfew for the children. There is no bar or club house, so no late night noise. We are a family with 2 children and have enjoyed are stays here. Check out there web site to see if its to your liking. hope this helped.
