Planning to go to Northumberland in the motorhome, never been before so would like a site close to a village or on a bus route, near coast, if anyone can suggest a few, thanks

Beadnall Bay site is a quiet site BUT cross the road and you're on the beach, only 1 mile from Seahouses, 2 pubs a 10 minute walk away (serving really great food) and the bus stops outside the site taking you to Seahouses and Bamburgh - we've been many times and LOVE it.
Just go on campsite search and you're spoilt for choice. Pick what you fancy then ask on here what facilities are like.
My favourite is Highburn House in Wooler, not near the coast but only a 10 minute walk into town.

Some lovely sites up here. Coast not too far away, no matter where you stay. Inland Hadrians Wall campsite is lovely. Also lovely one at Belford, not far from Bamborough and its fabulous beaches , Holy Island, and magnificent castle on the beach. Enjoy, its a beautiful county
