Can anyone recommend a campsite for tents in the Filey, Scarborough or Whitby area that has direct access to the beach.

Filey Brigg campsite is the only site I can think of that you would class as direct access to a beach. It is a couple of minute walk down a steep path to the beach.

Reighton Sands has access to the beach, albeit a steep sloping one. Of course this is a Haven site, so may not be to your taste.

Middlewood Farm. Robin Hoods Bay, has a walk down from the site to the beach at bottom of the Bay, although probably about 15 mins walk if I remember. Although some in that area, are not far from beach,
