Make sure you check out the signs at any beaches you visit as quite a lot of them have restrictions on what area of the beach you can take your dog (if they are allowed at all, that is). Walking on the wrong side of a beach can result in an instant fine.
A camp site which is out in the open is preferable, lots of midges about at this time of the year.
thanks for the replies i think we are going to book the riverside caravan site .I have read it is very nice and clean. Can anyone recommend any things to do and nice beaches to visit
thanks you again
Porthmadog area, has many good touring sites and nearby Black Rock sands, 2 miles of dog friendly beach, parking on the beach itself for a fee of £5 a day, Criccieth beach and Borth-y-Gest nearby Snowden 20 miles away,
Regards
John

Llanberis is a good place for a day out. On a nice day, there are picnic tables and plenty pf parking on the lakeside, lots of nice little shops, the 'electric mountain' and the Slate Museum to visit.
Don't forget to take a midge repellent with you - the midges in Wales can be quite fierce! I recommend Avon Skin so soft Woodland?/original fragrance for this, and a few citronella candles.
