thinking of going away mid way through August in a group of 3 couples all aged 21. Could anyone advise me of a good campsite in the North wales area please we don't need somewhere immaculate and the best of quality but again somewhere with clean toilet and washing facilities. Ideally without a curfew but the noise levels won't be that high anyway. We will be going on a Sunday if it makes any difference.

I take it you are referring to camping under canvas but it may help if you stated what your outfit is as not all sites accept tents.

Yes we would all be in separate tents so there would be 3 altogether.

And thanks for the recommendations, I have looked at she'll island before and I would travel that far if I had to but I would prefer somewhere a bit more north of that if it's possible? Sorry for being so picky

Don't know if you've looked on Camp Site Search but there are a number of possibilities to check out - Penrhyn Bay or Tyn Rhos, both on Anglesey, for example.

Cefn Cae in Rowen near Conwy is lovely. Regards curfew, phone the lady who runs it, she's lovely. Perhaps she can put you away from the main field, but you won't get EHU.

Conwy touring park is good for group camping and the curfew thing. We are going to Riverside in Caernarfon as a group in August and checked it out in person before we booked and it's lovely, right on the river hence the name, which is deep enough in parts to kayak and shallow enough for big and little kids to paddle in.

Hello again, does anyone else have any suggestions? I rang up conwy touring park but they said as we are only staying 1 night we would have to ring up the day before we were due to go. Thanks in advance

Bodnant caravan park has a camping field separate from the normal touring caravan field. Hook-ups & toilet block there as well as being within easy reach of Snowdon, Conwy, Betws-y-coed.

They also have a rally field.

can recommend tai Hirion caravan site on anglesey- brand new site- pitches have electricity- nice rural location-owner is very friendly-toilet block is immaculate
