With young children I would personally avoid whitehill country park - looks good on paper but noisy and soulless unfortunately. Bit sad considering what it could be. Were going to oakdown - which after we booked it won aa campsite of the year! (must be our influence haha) - as someone said - have a look on the campsite finder and read the reviews carefully :) good luck and have fun!

Hazelwood Holiday Park
We've been here several times with our family. Its a fairly quiet site in Dawlish Warren with chalets, a swimming pool, childrens play area,fishing and a club house. You can walk to the beach where there's a nice pub with childrens playzone and a small funfair.
There are other holiday parks in the same road but this is the cheapest.

Hi high well farm is a nice quiet site not far from Paignton nr to the zoo the one you thinking of nr blag don could have been Paignton tourist park
If you have not got a dog you take
Grange court which is hob urge group or search on line for private rental
Beverly park
Waterside
Have you thought of a cottage or apartment down there we just stayed in one on goodrington sands views where amazing
Try holiday lettings

When we stayed here there was either a separate section or it was another business that had a few statics. Also has a couple of self catering places.
Forgot to say only noticed statics when on a country walk.
It's near Brixham.
