Hi guys we're looking to take a short break in October with our toddler and are considering either Devon Cliffs which is a Haven site, or Cofton campsite. Can anyone advise on these please? We want to be where the facilities are open and obviously the weather may not be brilliant in October so we need to have enough indoor facilities to keep our little one amused if its pouring down! TIA

Hi we camped at cofton last summer. We have a 4&8 year old (3&7 at the time) and they are still asking to go back here, despite having a lovely holiday in Tenerife since! It was perfect for us. Although the weather was amazing and we made the most of the outdoor pool, we also tried the indoor pool which was lovely and clean. There's also Amelia's pantry upstairs which serves good food and has a small soft play area. Downstairs has a bar which also serves food and had mini disco and magic shows etc. By the outdoor pool is the park and a donkey sanctuary up the hill. I wouldn't hesitate in returning here and will definitely be back at some point, bit of a drive for us (6 hrs). I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Brilliant thanks Argies - I've now looked at some detailed reviews and noticed that the Haven touring area isn't too good unfortunately! Cofton it is then! 😊
Cofton was very clean when we went. We pitched in the overflow field as it was last min break but walked through the main fields and they looked great - I believe the orchard is a lovely field, its by the fishing lake past the on site chippy. I remember the Bathrooms were very clean and modern. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Any questions I'll do my best to answer.

Ah thank you Argies I really appreciate your help. All I really need to know now is whether the shower blocks are heated, especially as we are mad enough to be going in October and I do not like being cold at all! 😎
We're running a Caravan Club rally at Halloween October Half term at Woodlands, all facilities open and family bathrooms that you can use with the little ones.
Full admission to the park throughout the stay Thursday - Sunday and you won;t have to leave until 4pm on the Sunday.
The toilets and showers at Cofton are very good, warm and cleaned regularly and even have local radio.
We have been many times and the new pool/bars/restaurants are excellent.
It is quite a large site with different areas to pitch but some are not used when its quiet.
There is a kids play area in the café and a good outside playground.
The shop is quite good and a there is a new Sainsburys just down the road.
Hope you have a good time.
Cofton every time, stay every year with all my family. Excellent facilities, clean, large pitches. They are now open all year. If you have acsi or camping cheques these are accepted out of season. We are pensioners & our four generations enjoy it. Came back from there a week ago & can't wait to go again in September.
