Hi, we've got 2 kids with behavioural problems both properly diagnosed, one is an 11 year old autistic the other is a 10 year old with hyper kinetic disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiance disorder and tourettes/tic as well as 3 other lively children, can anyone recommend a site preferably midlands where they can enjoy themselves without constant harassment from the wardens or other families complaining about their "naughty" behaviour, thanks

Hi whilst empathising with you, having previously worked with individuals whose behaviours may challenge others, I do feel that you need to be totally honest with any campsite in explaining the symptoms and behaviours that could be expected so that they can make an informed decision as to whether they can offer you a pitch. They can also take your needs into account when allocating a pitch, this will beneficial not just for your family (you wont have to put up with adverse comments the dirty looks etc) but for their other customers who after all have the right to the relaxing holiday they have paid for.
I have generally found that by pitching in a quiet corner away from others that we are not disturbed and likewise we do not disturb others.
I can't help with recommendations in your requested area but do your research and you will hopefully find a site where you can return to year on year. good luck.

Maybe someone like TA might be able to help you out and if not maybe there's an idea for the future.
A week away where by a whole load of families in your position take over a whole campsite. I remember as a kid going to a Gingerbread camp with my Mum and Sister
hi there i have no experience of this but saw this campsite once whilst looking. my name is jake so it caught my eye. anyway they opened the site with disabled Access in mind so will probably be more understanding of your needs.
We have exprienced first hand the way a disabled person can be energised by the countryside from our own son, Jake, who has enjoyed many holidays in our camper van. It is with this in mind that we are taking particular consideration to the facilities we offer and their ability to be used by those who are able and those who are less able. Amongst others a perfect example iSAM0169s our shower block which is being built with level access and comfortable wet room type showers, large enough to accommodate wheelchairs and carers if needed.
Another feature is Rachel's Walk, a sensory pathway 60 metres for the blind and partially sighted which will be full of the beautiful scents of flowers, chirping from the birds and the sounds of rustling leaves and bushes. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=9016
