Hi Briarose

I used to live in WGC and fished at Stanborough Lakes which is still Day ticket. There are 2 lakes but one is used as stock pond or was.

This may be of use wgc angling club

Day tickets available on some of the waters

Another lake that I used to fish is Holwell hyde
used to be owned by Redland Aggregates. Have a google appears to have gone down hill from what I found.

Afraid that majority of fishable waters around WGC are owned by clubs with no day tickets.

Its 20 years since I moved up north so cant give upto date info
