Really struggling to find a campsite near Huddersfield which accepts tents.

Got 1 night at Holme Valley and hoping they have a cancellation for tomorrow and sunday!

Have you looked at the search facility on here? there is a site at Standedge which looks ok, takes tents, has facilities. I haven't been there.

Standedge is a tiny field out the back of a pub. Not great with kids!

Yes used the search on here.

The Springfield one was a temporary Tour De France site.

Marsh Farm the reviews were pretty poor so I avoided it.

Elland Hall Farm takes tents and is within easy striking distance of Huddersfield.

Highfield House at Flockton, 15 mins drive to Hudds town centre. My favourite local site. It is tiny but may well have ptiches, I have always managed to get a pitch when I have rung them

We ended up having our one night at Holme Valley and then going back to my aunts and stopping with her!

I will have a look at the Highfield House as we are planning to go back up that way in October half term.
