I'm ts tarting to think about summer holidays for next year, and I think I'd like to go to Cornwall (although I admit, I'm dreading the drive - probably going to break it up by stopping over night on the way down).
I have been to Cornwall before, but not since I was a child, so Slough I remember visiting places like Bude, Mevagissey, Gorran Haven etc etc, I don't remember details.
I think we'd really like to go and see the Eden Project, and Tintagel. We want to stay near a beach (near to us is maybe 20 minutes drive, as long as there's parking fairly near by).
We are two adults, and two children who will be 9 and 6 then. We like national trust things, CL/CS sites, not the big sites.
Any recommendations for towns or areas where I could start my search, I'm a bit clueless really.

Anywhere between St Ives and Godrevy along Hayle beach. We tried Bude this year but going back to Godrevy CC at Gwithian again next year

Gwithian Farm is the winner for us. Also a huge thumbs up for the Godrevy Cafe. Snacks and one night a week with an evening service. Oh and did i mention it's only 5 mins from Marks and Spencers. Just for those little luxuries.

Other retail outlets are available about the same distance from Gwithian Farm!
However there is a Farm shop at Conner Downs we used a lot and it has excellent fruit, veg and fresh meat. Their cafe serves portions that border on ridiculous.

another vote for gwithian. we went last year and have booked for next year...we have also been to polmanter three times but would no go back as it is too expensive and not worth it.....and to be honest gwithian is a lot better.
