Hi Am planning a 2 week trip to Scotland starting and ending in Perth, we wish to visit Stirling, moving across to visit Mull, and if possible the ardmurchan peninsula, can anyone recommend a good route to follow or also recommend any good touring parks? Many thanks in advance.
Why would you want to go anywhere else ?

Do you want to stay in a different place every night, or move every couple of days? Are you in a tent , caravan or Motorhome ?

I think your route is pretty foolproof. Stopping in Oban would be very good, lots to see and other islands to visit. I presume you return on the Tobermory - Kilchoan ferry. And presumably visit Glen Nevis, nice site, but never stayed on it.
I have no knowledge of any of the sites en route. But the journey is pretty sound.
Have a great trip.

Perth - I can only think of the CCC site at Scone, which is OK. Witches Craig a certainty for your Stirling stop, great site. Looking at the map, Stirling to Oban for the ferry will be a relatively long drive, and you may want to stop en route at Tyndrum just for the night - there's a site there that gets good reviews. Search the UKCS forums for a long thread or two on Mull which will advise on sites there, be aware the CCC site called Oban is nowhere near the town. Don't underestimate how big the island is either - you could easily use one of your two weeks there. Fill up on fuel too. I like the site at Resipole near Strontian on Ardnamurchan but others will advise and there are so few reviews of the few sites that you can just read them. Coming back brings you logically to Fort William, good for a stopover. You're coming a long way from Surrey, that'll take 2 days each way out of your fortnight. Hope you have a great time - you don't say when you're coming? PS the VisitScotland website has improved recently, for things to see and do.
------------- 2025=3 sites, 5 nights; 2024 = 20 sites / 41 nights. 2023 = 9/23. 2022 = 13/35. 2021 = 11/29. 2020 = 4/20. 2019 = 13/35. 2018 = 20/33. 2017 = 10/22. 2016 = 19/33. 2015 = 15 sites / 27 nights. Didn't count 1976 to 2014.

We had a brilliant holiday in ardnamurchan using 3 different ferries on an island hopper. Just north of Ballachulish take the very short corran ferry and camp at resipole to explore Strontian and ardnamurchan - plenty to do we were there a week! From here drive to ardnamuchan point and take slightly bigger ferry Iinto Tobermory. We camped in mull for a week too. Then took main ferry back to oban it was fun traveling in a triangle really good holiday loads of wildlife and amazing scenery.
