Hi
Cary and I are travelling down to Criccieth from St Helens towing the caravan. Cary is saying that she needs a stop-off about half way to stretch her legs as otherwise they get stiff - old age?!!

We'll be travelling via the A55. Can anyone recommend a caravan-suitable Services somewhere between Abergele and Conwy on that route. We've travelled this A55 many times but never bothered stopping enroute and many of the Service areas look rather small.

You could always pull off onto the promenade at Colwyn Bay. Plenty of parking along there.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

There is bad traffic issues at the moment at the tunnels near Conwy. There again, there is always something happening on the A55.
