hoping somebody can help? Looking for a site to visit for new year that may have some kind of enterrtainment be that a pub with live music or a clubhouse attached? Think we may have left it a little late but only recently found out we both have the new year off work 😊.
When we had our campervan we really enjoyed Cawood just outside York but unfortunately for us, since we changed to our Eriba caravan they won't allow us on because of the nearside door (even though we have a mover fitted that allows us to pitch with the door on the "correct" side).
We're lookin for somewhere not too far away from us so Northumberland down to North Yorkshire is our catchment area.
Hoping for a miracle??

You don't have your location set up of your Profile.... But Mortonhall at Edinburgh might be in reach. However, it might be fully booked already due to the Princes Street party & the fireworks that are only a cheap bus ride away. Pub on site otherwise.
Any suggestion for sites open between the main Christmas and New Year dates. Ideally on the coasts of Dorset or South Devon.
Looked at our usual sites around Lyme Regis but they are closed for the winter.
Now that we have our motorhome we are toying with the idea of a Christmas seasonal trip. (I think it's mainly because Mrs Biscuits would like to justify buying a Christmas tree for the van )
Thanks for the speedy reply sounds lovely but a bit too far north for us. Our catchment really is no further north than berwick and no further south than say york/leeds.
Rang Cawood today in desperation but they say categorically no, it would breach the terms of their license 😔
Still hoping for suggestions?
Thanks

Have you done a map search clicking on "open all year"? See if there are any reviews dated December or January. Sorry you can't reach far north, but I hope you find somewhere.
Think you're in the same boat as us looby regarding looking for a seasonal site, especially in the north east.
There seems to be more choice when you start looking Yorkshire way though. But we decided that, that kind of distance was too far for us if we wanted to dash away for the weekend last minute.
------------- Damned if I do...
Damned if I don't!!!!

Mr Biscuits, we've just booked Cofton in Devon, they are hoping to have some entertainment, though I don't think it's on their website yet, you have to give them a call
