"I have been looking for a site that will give me a cuppa on arrival while they pitch my tent for me but no luck yet." Bob61


If ever you venture to North Wales Bob then I can highly recommend Silver Birches nr Snowdon. Adult only with just 13 pitches. Tea or coffee on a tray on arrival.

I think a £20 retention against a future booking would be a fair compromise.

Yes Checkley, I would have been happy with that, and they would have still had two sets of happy customers not complaining about them

Wow! Now that's Welsh hospitality for you. I would need a strong coffee after travelling to north Wales...takes about 6 hours!

I think to retain £20 is unfair. It wasn't even one working day before you spoke to them.

Personally I would just name and shame to me that would be worth more than the refund, I am fed up with these large companies trying to take us on for our hard earned cash, this dosent happen with smaller independents.

Hi Richard,

We have had some wonderful breaks at this site in the past and it just seem such a shame.

I'm going to think a little more.
