Can anyone recommend a good site for a Motorhome and family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 12) and 2 dogs between Xmas and New Year's Eve, ideally south coast or Devon/Somerset/Dorset or Norfolk/Suffolk. Good walks, good local pubs (close to site), not into entertainment sites or large commercial sites but do appreciate good facilities (showers/toilets. All recommendations appreciated, thank you in advance.

I've had a look but recommendations are always better as they are first hand experience, just don't want cold toilet/shower blocks or miles from a pub.
And thanks Billyboggins I'll have a look at Alby (where ever that is!!!)
Billyboggins - confused.com - do you mean Deers leap in ringwood? or Deers Glade Norfolk? and is Alby your name or a place??? am I being a bit thick here?
Cheers Billyboggins, looks lovely but 2 questions - is it walking distance of pub and can you walk to other places, we have quite a large motorhome so once its in situ we try to walk or bus places.
Cheers - I think West Runton was our first ever campsite about 7 years ago, turned up on such a howling windy day we nearly gave up and turned around but loads of other campers came out and all helped put our tent up, you had to cross the trainline to get to it.

Just looked at the reviews of Foxhills Adults only site (from link above) and a couple of the reviews mention children. Don't know what age they are, or in a separate part of the site or ....?
