Not sure if you would consider Anglesey but Dafarn Rhos is a great site practically on the dog friendly beach.

The Willows near Abersoch......lovely site and near countless beaches, we went to a different beach every day for a week and still loads more to explore

For North Wales have a look at Manorafon Farm, Abergele. Good clean facilites, ehu pitches very spacious,traffic-free dog walking right from the entrance, lots of animals for kids to pet and feed, only a few minutes walk from Tesco and the town centre shops and pubs and a very short drive to the beach - I've been there several times and love it.

Sorry, Abergele is just north of Colwyn Bay so may be too far up for you? The site really is nice though, in a lovely semi-rural location near an old castle.

Tyddyn llwyn is a lovely site. Inbetween Portmadoc and Blackrock Sands.
Lovely coves to visit at Borth y Gest. We go a few times every year!
