Can anyone recommend sites that welcome multi dogs? I really struggle finding places that I am welcomed at, even with sites that don't stipulate a number of dogs permitted policy. I have 6 dogs and it doesn't matter that they are small or exceptionally well behaved, I am simply refused before even being given a chance.

So far I have only been to 3 sites that have welcomed us (must do reviews!) and although they say I'm welcome back any time because my dogs are so well behaved and a true credit to me (which they are!), these sites are at the other side of the country and obviously not practical for short breaks.

I don't mind about 'on-lead at all times' rules because they are kept enclosed at all times (I have a custom made 3ft wind breaker style fencing that forms a completely secure small area in front of the tent). Besides, we are out all day, by the time we get back from extensive walkies the dogs are half dead anyway and all they want to do is get in the tent to collapse for the night!

I do prefer quieter, smaller sites, not too bothered about the facilities, basic is fine with me but definitely no free roaming chickens, ducks or sheep! Anywhere close to the Lancshire/north west area would be a bonus too.

Brynawelon would welcome you, I'm sure. T'other side of the country though.

Thanks LlaniDavis, just had a look at the Brynawelon website, sounds perfect, going to be one to definitely visit for a longer break.

I may be wrong but worth a check by ringing them, but I do not think the Camping and Caravanning Club put a limit on numbers or charge for dogs. Cannot see anything about a limit in thier Site Policy but obviously they are quite strict about the on lead rule. Also I think that many of their CS's do not limit the number if dogs.

I've seen 4 dogs on a Caravan Club site but a lot of their sites don't take tents. You can't win sometimes!

That's brilliant! Thank you! I will definitely be coming to stay! I have travelled to Llanelli many times to the rescue centre I foster for, the journey is about 4.5 hours but such a pleasure, love driving through Wales! Haven't been to Ceredigion yet but have heard how beautiful it is. I shall look forward to meeting you and your pack this year!
