Can anyone recommend a campsite in Devon (North or South) that is set in woods, preferably with a stream/river passing by, and is no more than half an hours drive to the beach?
Cheers
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Stowford Farm Meadows, not so much set in a woods, but some lovely walks in and around the site, its between combe martin, and woolcombe. Two lovely beaches. Camp site is huge, very clean and tidy. Lovely shop and good food. Entertainment in high season too.
Check out there web site, we love it there and highly recommend it

I can recommend "hidden valley" Nortyh Devon, between Braunton and Ilfracombe
woods, stream/small lake and Saunton. Croyde, woolacombe or Putsborough beaches all within about 10 mins
