After watching a recent TV programs the area of Church Stretton looked really nice, we enjoy walking and the area looked ideal. Can anyone recommend any sites in the area for a week in July.

If you prefer small quiet sites then try Small Batch in Little Stretton, just down the road from Church Stretton. It's reviewed on here but I can't do the linkie thing. Some years since we stayed and walked in that area but it was a great little site back then. Lovely views and walking distance to a couple of pubs. If you don't mind driving to your walks then you should also walk The Wreckin, Shropshires "Little Mountain" A few miles north of Church Stretton.
Shropshire. Gods own country! There are loads of sites in the area, can't recommend any as I live here and never use them! This website might help you plan your trip once you decide where to stay.
