Op is right - it now shows on the website that they no longer accept touring caravans? Although on the uk campsite page it is saying there is still one seasonal pitch left. Maybe this site hasn't been updated or maybe it may be worth checking direct with the site?
If I remember rightly the fees were about £1800 for the year.

Highfield Farm, Tunstall, near Catterick Garrison has about 100 pitches for seasonal so you should have a good chance. 3 golf courses near by, and a small fishing area on site or I'm sure there are others close by subject to licensing. We were on site for 4 seasons and only moved off when we sold the van for a static. Plenty to see and do in the area and shops a short drive away.
Casinspain I stated seasonal adults only touring vans only no statics which is quite true.
I have been on this site since back end of last year as we have decided to stay seasonal/allyear due to me being 76 next week.
Iknow for sure that there were two pitches left for touring vans on a all year round bassis one opposite my van and one to the left the pitch opposite mine is 50 yrds away.
As Rachel states this is now reduced to one vacant space for a touring caravan for 1 full year siting not short stay vans so please ring again and inform Graeme or Alison you want to put your van on for a full year if you are happy to do so J & C .

Thankyou , will get my husband to ring , I am out for 2 weeks in march so would be able to look then, Haxey quays have got back to my husband to say they could put us on a waiting list, but really wanted to sort out by the end of march, thanks for all again x
There's Thrybergh park that you could consider for a seasonal pitch,
However if you joined the caravan club or the Camping and Caravan Club there's plenty of sites in the area where you could stay for 28 days before moving to another site, at least it would give you a breather until you get a seasonal pitch.
