We have been away in the van for a few Christmases. 2015 we were the only ones on site. None of the sites have been fully booked, So my advice, following extreme winds, is wait till nearer the time to book; have a few options in different areas and go where the weather is going to be best. We had to cut short Christmas as the wind abated for one day and was then due back even stronger. We were in the van in 60mph winds, couldn't sleep because of the noise and motion of the van. We couldn't have towed in the winds so as soon as it dropped we came home. We were glad we did as the second storm brought down trees in the area we were in and people were being advised not to go out!!!!!
