Yep some sites are expensive compared with cl's depends on location in my book as to whether they are worth it. I've paid £25 a night for a site in Padstow but its location means we don't need to drive in thus incurring parking charges every time, plus we can have a few beers if we want.

Always huge traffic jams at the kelpies.
Park in the Auld Toon Grangemouth, walk over across the River through the Marina. Or park in the industrial estate at the back of McDonalds, and up the top you will find a gate into the top of the Marina always open as it is the gate for Marina Traffic, walk across the canal and into the back of the Kelpies. Park at the football stadium, obviously not on match day. Or go early.
It is a busy road anyway as it is the same road for the back end of Camelon, Carronshore, Larbert also a lot of traffic for Falkirk but no busier than normal town areas.
