It's situated very close to the popular Devil's Bridge a ten-15 minute walk into Kirkby Lonsdale for some evening refreshment. Open to any suggestions on things to do, places to visit etc. I have done some research & I'm quite familiar with the area but there's always hidden gems.

We took the bus into Lancaster and had the tour around the castle/prison/courthouse complex. It was well worth the trip.
Did things like White Scar Caves and Mallam Cove...all good stuff.

Liked the Gaping Ghyll idea but would never get my wife to go down there in a month of Sunday's laughed at the comment on prices for descent (includes ascent). Some other good suggestions too. Might do the castle at Lancaster when we go to the music festival early October. Thanks
Do Lancaster still have the outdoor plays in Williamson's Park in the summer? It's donkey's years since we went, but enjoyed it very much. There's also the Judge's Lodgings and the Maritime Museum to visit. Lancaster Museum is in the town centre and used to be free entry.
