We are at Deer's Mead, Erpingham. Only 6 of us here and looks like some are off this morning. I know weather is not too good, raining on and off and gales threatened tonight. On the way up we had hailstones and sleet.
Off to Cromer or Sherringham for a walk.

Hi Claire and Colin,
We are booked into the same site for a few days in July. Please tell what and where you get up to in the area.
We used to live in Suffolk, but don't really know north Norfolk very well. Hoping the weather is kind to you.

We come here quite a lot.
There is quite a lot of different things to do. A trip along the coast road to Wells by the Sea (great fish and chips!)
There's Sherringham where you can get a steam train to Holt. We found Holt last time we came and loved it, a lot of nice Independent shops. Cromer with its pier and shows.
Take a cruise on the broads. Wrexham barns was good too.
I don't think you will be bored here.
Hope you have a good stay.
(Parking is quite expensive here is the only downside)

Thanks for those ideas.
We hope to spend a day in Norwich and use the park and ride. We will be in a small Motorhome, but it won't go under height barriers, just wondered if you'd noticed any?
Thanks again

Lovely & sunny in Ayrshire, though the N wind is cool, we've had some beautiful sunsets recently. The C&CC site we'd planned to go to about an hour away couldn't book us in as it had no Internet - we tried to persuade the Manager to take our cash & write a note of our details on paper, but that wasn't allowed so that site was almost empty.
Got back yesterday from Speyside CCC. Very quiet there other than those who were up for the rally. Snow started overnight Friday and kept going on and off through Saturday. Had the frozen zip issue Sunday morning and the problem of the weight of snow sagging outer down onto the inner - all four of us in tents had this! Off again to Border Forest on Thursday.

Got back from Camping at de L'Arquebuse,Auxonne,Burgundy last week. River Saône very high and spilling on to camping, had to drive through 15 cm of water (camper van) to get off site. Very few people around, one Swiss couple stayed all the time we were there and a couple of overnighters. Cold and wet though did manage a BBQ on last day.
Your topic is titled, where is everyone? well with large snowflakes coming down at the moment in the North East we are staying at home. Pity, Tour de Yorkshire on this weekend, but there is snow in the dales. Booked for Pickering for Whit so surely a bit of good weather is due.
