Hi, does anyone know of a good camp site at the Forest of Dean ?
The wife is a complete camping nut in the last year and also a Harry Potter nutter so would like to visit where they filmed if anyone knows where the spot is ?

Start with Camp Site Search.

You'll have to Search (Google etc) for filming locations, which appear to include Gloucester Cathedral, for example, a few miles east of the area shown. You can alter the centre of the area and its radius as well as selecting the site facilities you need/would like.

We've stopped at Whitemead forest park in the past, lovely site with plenty of onsite activities if needed.

We stayed at Hawthorne Cottage, Clements End near Cinderford a good few years, ago liked it very much, It has loos and showers and is very reasonably priced. Don't know if it's near where you want though, not being a Harry Potter fan.

another vote for Whitemead Forest Park. Great site with onsite bar, direct access to woods and an indoor pool for when the kids get bored or the rain sets in

We have just returned from this lovely campsite
Forest And Wye Valley Camping Site. The name of the place you are referring to is Puzzlewood which is 5 mins away by car which we visited while we were there.
