Are you a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club (C&CC)? if you are, or be prepared to join, then you can access their Certified Sites (CSs), smaller cheaper sites which accept tents; you can use the C&CC website or the search facility on here to find out which have ehu, loos and showers.

I used Clent Hills a lot a few years ago when working in the area (away from home).
Its a lovely, very well kept and quit site. Worth joining CCC for that alone.http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/results3.asp?search=clent%20hills&by=sitename

If you want a small, friendly site (EHU, toilet but no showers) we can recommend Croxall Farm Certificated Site, near Coleshill. Only £12 a night last time we used it 18 months ago, but you would have to join the Camping and Caravanning Club to use it.
