We're looking for sites that will allow commercial vehicles even when it says on their website "No Commercial Vehicles". We run our own building company and the transit van we drive is for both our business and personal use. It is our "family" vehicle. Its a lovely black transit, well kept but does have signage on the van. We're a family of three and looking for sites around Yorkshire / North East. We're going to be swapping to a Nissan Navara later in the year and again want to sign-write this.
Has anyone had any success on being allowed on campsites with this type of vehicle?
Thanks
Amanda
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Caravan Club allow commercial vehicles on there sites, my leisure vehicles a panel van.
Phoned a couple of sites last year and both wardens told me no problem.
I think they said sign written vehicles were ok also.. but I would double check that one.
Have noticed on several CC site sign written vehicles, on one or two they appeared to ask for larger vans to be parked up in the visitor car parking.
We regularly see sign written vehicles on both club sites and non club - I understand it often the bigger holiday park type sites that may have restrictions - always ring and ask, think you will be pleasantly surprised that many sites have no problems.
