After a bit of help please, looking for a campsite in the UK with a pool, to go to in the summer holidays with my husband 15 year old daughter, and 10 year old son, we have a folding camper and electric hook up would be good,but with being in the summer holidays the past couple of years we have been paying 300- 400 for a week long stay, running on a tighter budget this year and was wondering if you lovely folk have any recommendations for a cheaper stay? I think you'll struggle to beat £300 a week for a site with a pool from my experience.

Two nice ones we've used are Whitemead Forest Park which has an indoor pool or The Ranch in Honeybourne which has a nice outdoor pool.

Sea barn Farm in Weymouth. It's sister site, West Fleet, which is across the road has a 'heated' pool. Went there 3 years ago and 1 year old and I couldn't wait to get out.

You can camp at West Fleet or Sea Barn and use facilities at each one. Sea Barn is quiet and West Fleet is noisy in comparision.

Like someone said, you might struggle with the budget, but Budemeadows is a nice site for the hols and a surfing beach just over a mile away

If you join the Camping & Caravanning Club you will find some good holidays through their District Associations, they call them THS's (Temporary Holiday Sites) . They have a good choice of holidays on Cornwall. For example, a full facility site in Newquay, pitch with EHU - £18 per night. So even with the joining fee it works out very cheap!

Twelve oaks,Newton Abbot,South Devon,swimming pool (really warm) close to many places Torquay, Painton,and many more
4 people in august £32 per night or £224 a week and it has a fabulous toilet block that women like, we've been several times and love it

Try some ot the park holidays resorts, we love whitstable in Kent, Seaview, we are going 13th August for 7 nights £243 with electric and water, there is a air show on 14th August in the next town Herne Bay, and they fly over the site the wardens were telling me,

Brighouse Bay near Kircudbright in Dumfries & Galloway. You can also go golfing or pony riding, if I recall: it seems to be a good site for families (beach too). Part of the Gillespie Leisure chain; their site at Sandyhills near Dumfries gives access to the nearby pool used by the nearby timber lodge estate.

How big a pool. We stay at a lovely site skirlington leisure park, East Yorkshire. It has a nice pool with a little splash thing. It also has a good playground and amusements. It looks like it's £189 a week. it's also pretty much on the beach too hxx
