Hi,
I am trying to organise a work camping trip over August bank holiday. We are a group of older ladies, a couple of teenagers and dogs. We need 4 tent pitches and 1 camper van pitch.
We are very happy to pay more for good facilities and nicer pitches, but keep being thwarted by the 'no groups' rule that a lot of campsites have.
We would prefer quieter countryside or coastal sites.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
(I have searched the site but am hoping for a recommendation!)
Thank you

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
what about Ship and Anchor in Ford? If you phone and explain that you are quiet mature people, not noisy kids, she may take a booking . I would have thought most sites would accept you if you phone and explain who you are
Went to Red Shoot (or similar name beside a pub of this name) and they had a family bbq. I think it was a 40th wedding anniversary. There were some of people in tents and caravans who came together. This was a weekend in June 2014.They were not roudy or anything, just simple chatting.

If the site is still in the same hands, the lady that runs it was really helpful and nice when I camped there solo a few years ago.
