We are over 60 so as CCC members we get age concession. I think the reduction is up to 25%, plus any member gets a reduction over the general public.
I think camping is undergoing a revival of interest. There seems to be more sites around, and more people camping. I was thinking only the other day that ALL sites seem to be charging more this year. They are probably cashing in on that new interest. There are also a lot more people out walking now - but they go free!

Members do not get a reduction, non-members are charged an additional premium.
Check the members' prices against those charged at equivalent non-club sites and you will find that the members' prices are not cheap.
I've already reviewed it franbee! I originally found the site on here quite a few years ago. It's about as far from a CCC site as you could get. Weirdly, after a fab weekend camping with my partner, I was thinking of doing a one nighter on my own next weekend locally & I've just looked at 2 CCC sites but they are way, way too expensive. Now looking for a plan b!

The prices drove us away 2 years ago. It got to the point where I needed a bank loan for 2 adults 3 kids in a tent.
I also didn't like how tents were stuck out of the way on rubbish ground. The nice leavle ground was for caravans etc.
This reminds me of a particularly bad stay at the Clitheroe CCC site a few years back when DS1 was small. We were the put the furthest point from the toilet block, surrounded by nettles, whilst the caravans were on pristine manicured pitches by the facilities. We packed up after 2 nights.

I would rather stay at home than spend £10 to stay in a field in the Midlands.
And without wanting to appear extremely rude, I'm glad that you'd rather stay home! I will continue to pay my £10 to stay in a field in the Midlands with people who are happy to do the same!!!
