Hi i wondered if anyone is part of the family camping club? I posted on a forum about sites that are per pitch per night rather than having to pay extras. I was reccomended the club. Will likely join tonight but wondered if anyone uses it and how they find it? Thanks 👍

Don't have a problem with clubs etc..
But £25.00 pound to join levees a bitter tast in my mouth.

how many campsites are they affiliated with? And also, how much of a discount can they really negotiate?

I live in Northern Ireland and a couple of years ago a local guy who is also a car sales man started a 'club' where he took £25 a year off you, gave you a sticker and a pen and put your name on a mugs list (sorry - marketing list) for companies to harrass you. Granted there were some campsites that offered a small discount for being a member (nothing to get excited about) and there was the odd meet.

Having spoken to people who are members or have been in the past they were not that impressed with it.

Their website isn't very informative although they do list rallies on sites with a discount. I was more interested in the social side of it - we have a lone teenager who likes company of a similar age when camping.

looked at site, and to be honest not much for £25-00
i stay with CCC just for the cs sites, and Haven for main holidays.
