I would be grateful for any recommendations of family friendly campsites for a family in a tent (with EHU) in Dorset.

Our children will be 11 and 7 so some activities would be welcomed - a pool would be great. Decent toilet block is an essential as far as i am concerned!

We would like to be well located to explore the area and beaches (recommendations for places to go also welcome).

How busy do you want them ? All singing all dancing Freshwater Beach Holiday Park in Dorset, just into Devon Ladram Bay , the kids would have loads to do but maybe to full on for parents

Sea Barn Farm, now been re named camping park!

It has a sister site over the road which has an outdoor pool & clubhouse thing, or alternatively go for the livlier site, West Fleet.

Has playpark but ball games welcome between tents, no allocated pitches - just find a space, except for ehu. Here

Norden Farm is popular with families. Very good facilities, a short walk from the Swanage steam railway and walking distance to Corfe Castle.

I know you booked elsewhere, maybe a future site ?
We just returned from Ulwell Cottage , Swanage and can highly recommend it, Pool, pub with good food, spotless facilities.
