Minefield!
The reviews pages on here take it about as far as is practical. Reviews, a description of the site, location, icons for facilities, and of course, if it has one, a link to the camp site's website and direct contact details.
Prices could be a full page on it's own, and even then, trying to keep that up to date would be a nightmare for admin, I would have thought.
As you've witnessed, site prices vary massively, and so do their pricing structure.
Per pitch or per person? Min number of nights? Extra for awnings/large tents/Dogs/Children/additional car etc, etc?
EHU or non-EHU? Grass/Hardstanding/AWP? Standard, Jumbo, or fully serviced pitch? Sea view? Adult only/Quiet section? Special offers for age or extended stays? Member or non-member?
High, low or mid season rate? Weekend or week day?
The list is endless, or at least can be, at some sites.
Sometimes, we just have to do a little work/research ourselves!
Find a site that at least appears to be "your kind of site" (from the excellent UKCS pages) then click on that website link and/or make that 'phone call, to get the accurate, up to date, confirmed price to suit your needs, family and set up... Straight from the horses mouth!
The last thing UKCS need is for folk moaning that their "prices page" is out of date or misleading in any way. That would be rather unfair on admin, I'd say.
That's the beauty of a "one click link"!!
