We are looking for our first caravan trip out. We want to stop a week somewhere but we keep reading price per person.
Alot of campsites are more expensive than renting a lodge. Am I reading these wrong or should I be looking for a certain type of site for lower costs.

I think you are reading the price list incorrectly. You should expect to pay no more than £30 per couple per day.
If you go to the big sites with a pools etc you may pay more but definitely less than a lodge.
