We are staying at freshwater near bridport in two weeks for a fortnight however, last year we really struggled getting a tv signal. I have an outside aerial running through the caravan booster but the signal is still hit an miss. Can anyone recommend anything that may help us with the signal, I don't want to spend zillions as its just to keep the kids occupied when it rains.
Thanks in advance .
Mark.

If you happen to have Sky TV there is no reason why you can't take the box with you. We take ours to Spain in the winter and France in the summer. Just need to buy a dish

Alternatively if you have a tablet and the site has a good wifi connection try downloading Filmon. We use this abroad and it appears to work ok in the UK.This gives you the popular UK TV channels. If you happen to have an iPad a Apple Lightning Digital AV Adaptor can apparently be used to connect the iPad to a TV.
Not an expert on the matter but perhaps someone can confirm my suggestions.

last year we went to Dawlish, a long the coast abit!, we had poor reception, every day I was out messing about with the aerial, one day I was taking it down to add another length of pole when my wife shouted "that's a good picture", the aerial was on the floor!!! that's where it staid, I couldn't believe it.
I have one of those pathetic rubber aerials fitted to my van which is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
I purchased the aerial below (along with the signal booster (that's extra) it has not failed yet ,in the welsh mountains ,at various locations).
I highly recommend it. 1byone 0.5mm HDTV Aerial for Digital Freeview and Analog TV Signals, VHF / UHF / FM
