Littlesea (the Haven site) has beautiful views from their caravan pitches. You're not far from a sandy beach, but the beach on site is a bit more like a muddy one!
Not a big site by Haven standards, but plenty going on if you want it. The touring area is through the static site and on the hill overlooking the sea.
I live in West Dorset - depends what kind of site you are looking for, give me some clues as to what you want/don't want and which part of Dorset you are aiming for as I don't have knowledge of sites to the East (Bournemouth, Poole etc.).

We was looking at starting off around lyme regis , We are looking for a nice site , hopefully on the coast with sea views , good flat cycle routes/paths to main places , pool would be good if possible , but also quiet peaceful lol ...
In reality we want a nice site to stay that we can use the bikes to get places at times
That's why I suggested Haycraft. No playpark on site, so although we love the site, not much for our kids, just lovely countryside and great walks. Maybe we can go back when the kids have grown up.

Not very much flat cycling around Lyme Regis part of the county. Wareham Forest might be worth looking at if you want to venture a bit further East during your two weeks. Great reviews for Bingham Grange adult only site near Bridport which is reasonable cycling from there to the town (about 3 miles?) and to the beach at West Bay which is about a mile or so further on. No pool at Bingham tho.
East Fleet Farm, Weymouth. Bike into Weymouth from the site then onto the Rodwell Trail and onto Portland.
