Hi all,
I'm looking for a campsite for a couple of nights in October half term that will accept motorhomes in the East Devon / Dorset area. Ideally close to the sea, preferably walkable to a village pub, and MUST have a playground for children. Would be lovely to have an indoor pool as a bonus.
Does anyone have a personal recommendation? There are so many in this region on the campsite list that I'm completely spoilt for choice!!!
Thanks. :-)

Birchwood Tourist Park is my favourite site, and I have been going there every year since 2009 except for 2010 and went to another site in the area.
It does not have an indoor pool, however, it does have an outside paddling pool for kids.
It is only about 30min's drive from Sandbanks beaches.
The Silent Woman pub is within walking distance up the road, however, I prefer to drive to The King's Arm that is further away in Stoborough just outside Wareham.

We like the parkdean holiday park in West Bay because of its situation next to the harbor and the sea front. No countryside camping, though. The facilities are ok and the children like the indoor pool. We have never been there during holidays, so for us, it has always been quiet enough there. Maybe different when you travel.
Norden farm caravan and camping park, short walk to corfe castle, pubs in the village dog friendly, or jump on the steam train at corfe castle and go into swanage for a pint again dog friendly
