Hi: we are avid stargazers and are looking for a small campsite with EHU, showers and toilets, that will accommodate trailer-tents and dogs, with minimal light pollution. We are open to all suggested sites within the UK, but will be concentrating on The Fens at the beginning of October

Dumfries and Galloway is known for its Dark Skies and has lots of sites to choose from.
Not that far from where you live.

West wales no light pollution, fantastic auroras and star gazing allows for the milkyway to be seen very often

Have a look at Balloch O Dee in Dumfries and Galloway. D&G is a designated dark skies area. Balloch O Dee is a beautiful, small basic campsite. Check out the bothy and the roundhouse. Beautiful.
