Could any advise on the pitches there? We have been offered a pitch in W field (but I've heard they can be boggy) or F field, are there any other drawnbacks apart from distance from the beach?
Thanks in advance.

We have been to Pentewan every year for 38years.For the last 18 years since retiring we have been on W as it is Wednesday to Wednesday pitches mainly and never had a problem.Pentewan grass pitches are on sandy ground and even with lots of rain soon drains.
Never been on F but they are lower down and near the road and I would think if there was a problem with pitches it would be them as water would drain down to them being lower, and you would not see the sea from them as with W pitches.
Brilliant - thank you, I was worried the W14 pitch was a bit small at 11x11 and our tent is 8m long but I'm sure we will squeeze in and hope the neighbours are friendly !

Iv just booked a weeks stay on here for July peak season. There were only a few pitches left so I booked the biggest as we've not a big caravan. I have booked A field PEA oo2 anyone stayed on this pitch or area? We've been to France for years and decided on a uk holiday next year with all the uncertainty of the euro etc. Must admit this looks like a lovely site and we are looking forward to it.
We only had a choice of 3 pitches and chose the biggest for our caravan. Noise won't bother us as we've got 2 older girls so we won't be in bed early on holiday and probably go to the clubhouse at night. The site told me we would change it if any others come available.
