First time caravanner looking to have maiden voyage for a few nights between xmas n new year but most sites are fully booked(Yorkshire/Nottingham area) any ideas or recommendations appreciated.

Get yourself a book with a list of campsites, some of the caravan mags give them out at certain times of year.

There will be plenty of sites open, maybe think of joining the caravan club or camping and caravanning club. They have exclusive sites.

Member of both but all of sites I've looked at are fully booked especially with caravan club booking policy.Dont want to leave while last minute waiting for a cancellation

We have found that it is always worth ringing the site direct, even if showing as fully booked online. You may well find that you may be able to get on the site then, although I appreciate that New Year is exceptionally busy. Good luck and enjoy your maiden voyage.

Caravan Club's bolton abbey site in yorkshire has pitches right through in december.

I have just booked onto the camping and caravanning club rally at Castle Donington this has entertainment NYE and EHU £14 per night. If that helps, it all depends on what you want

We went to Blackmore (Malvern Hills) Caravan and camping site last new year and and had a fantastic time and lovely party. Everyone dressed up and we danced the night away!

Hi Claire

Stopped they many a time, either when bike racing is on, or when we used to go shooting at Melbourne.

Site is ok don't take much notice of the reviews.
In fact the site as a lot of history to the race track.

Same DA we are in lol
