Hi. I'm wondering if anyone can help with suggestions for a caravan site for next Easter. I'm not a fan of cold weather camping and being stuck in a caravan with a 12 and 9 year old so want someone with some activities - maybe a pool - but nowhere packed to the rafters! Could be anywhere between North Wales and South Scotland. Would love some new ideas as we're stuck in a rut with where we visit! Thanks!

Edinburgh Caravan Club Site? All Edinburgh has to offer within easy reach. Muriel and the rest of the warden team look after the site beautifully. In fact she gets a well deserved mention in this months Caravan Club magazine!

Easter is mid April next year. Past frost & snow.
Brighouse Bay in Galloway (near Kirkcudbright) has a pool, horse riding, a sheltered beach. That would be about 2 hours west of Carlisle.

For Edinburgh, I prefer the friendly, family run Linwater site at East Calder.
However, if you don't want a city break, then I'd recommend heading over the bridge to Fife, Crail, St.Andrews etc..
