Hi, we have just booked for 2017 a seasonal site for a tourer that lets us store for the Winter and opens up from March to October and includes electricity. We have no idea whether what we are paying is the going rate. What would the average cost per year that we would be expected to pay.
We went to one site, ok they had childrens facilities and a clubhouse but thought they were expensive. We only want a quiet site with good clean toilet blocks. Thanks very much.

Hi, I started a topic similar to this earlier in the week, however mine was requesting details of any suggested seasonal sites in North West England and prices available. If you don't mind me asking, how much are you going to be paying for your seasonal pitch?
I've found a site that runs from March until the end of October for £1330 including electricity & VAT the only extra is the awning at £2 per night, but this is taken down when not in use. Looks good value to me at this price, however like yourself I want to make sure its good value before committing. Thanks Adam

£3000 is the going rate so have a time
I would think this is expensive for an 8 month tourer site with winter storage - though possibly depends on the area. I would expect the bigger haven type sites to cost this much.
We are in an excellent site in a great location any pay just under £1,700 for 8 month season and winter storage.

Same here (Shropshire). We do pay for electricity on a card but cost about £30 last season.

We wanted something in the Bournemouth area and tends to be expensive due to the New Forest, we went to one site to enquire and was quoted 3200, ended up on site for 2000 all in.
