In early December we spent a few days at the CC site at Chatsworth and that completed our trips away for 2016. For those that enjoy such things you can catch up with our travels here http://www.davidklyne.co.uk/travels_in_the_uk_2016.html Site reports for all the sites we stayed at have been posted on UKCampsites.

Great blog David. Loved seeing all the sites we'd visited this year too. It seems we may have followed each other round some parts of the UK!
I've updated ours with our latest Christmas & New Year trip.

I think it just depends on the prevailing weather. Norfolk is usually pretty good. I suppose we were lucky that we were in Norwich as there was plenty to do so weather wasn't as important.

Great blog David and some really fab photos.
I was in Norfolk the same time as you, just north of Yarmouth from Sept 11th to 20th, and apart from one day of rain and cloud the following day it was wall to wall sunshine right through, and so hot I got a Mediterranean tan just walking about. Just shows what a difference a few miles can make.

Thank you so much for a really good blog with excellent photos and interesting descriptions. I have had a look at your website and will spend quite a few happy hours reading your previous blogs especially your European journeys. I have tried a couple of blogs myself, mainly to remind me of what we did on our travels for when we reach our dotage. Not having our own website we are restricted to Travelpod which whilst it's ok has nowhere near the impact of your website.
Keep up the good work and I hope you write many more in the future. Thanks once again!
John
