I'm looking for a recommendation for a campsite for the school holidays.
My requirements are:
Beachfront / very close to the beach
Indoor / outdoor heated pool
Maybe a bit of entertainment
Good for young children (3 & 5)
EHU
Big pitches - we've got a Hi Gear Oasis 8, which has a 6.5 x 5m footprint
We'd like to back to www.beachside.co.uk but they have no EHU pitches left....
I've tried to go through all the options on the search facility but not found anything.
Thanks,
Miles

You won't get much nearer the sea than Pentewan. We went there every year for 36 years with our children and then grandchildren. We stopped going when we sold our boat and no longer needed easy launching facilities, but still have great memories of it,catching our own fish and then putting them on BBQ
We are going end of July after years of going to France we've decided to stay in the UK this year for several reasons. I just hope the weather's kind to us as we don't have much luck with Cornwall and the weather! We are doing a wk here then a wk in Devon at Hillhead on the club site. My friend goes here and her Facebook pictures sold it to me last year it looks gorgeous.

We love Hillhead great site but so much to do within easy reach. If you want to visit Dartmouth drive down to Kingswear and park in the marina car park. Walk up along the railway side footpath to the higher ferry (if you're lucky the steam train passes within a few yards). Cross on the higher ferry as foot passengers then walk down the quayside to explore Dartmouth and have lunch. On return catch the iconic lower ferry back to Kingswear.
Great day out also by catching ferry with car and driving to Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands, Beesands, Kingsbridge and further.
Hillhead must be one of the top CC sites
