Hi, I'm looking to go away in the tent with the family (and another family) in may half term, I want to be near Bath/ Bradford on Avon, on a nice with ehu please, recommendations here have never let me down before. (Seqouoia park 2015, Trewan hall 2016) so what do you suggest?

Thanks Bob, I did look and nothing that looked amazing came up, so I wondered what people thought, seems good area for vans, not great for Tents!

I too have often wanted to camp close to Bradford on Avon but there are no decent sites within walking distance. One that was within walking distance seems to have closed down. Campsites closer to Bath seem to be either caravans only or very expensive. I gave up in the end and camped near Devizes instead. There is a nice campsite at the rear of the Three Magpies Pub at Seend near Devizes which has EHU and a bus stop right outside if you want to use public transport into Bradford and Bath. I've not tried the bus yet but I may one day.

Thanks all,re Blackberries, it does Look pretty but expensive for facilities-we are going with friends, 10 of us in all-I wouldn't think 1 toilet is enough for us, never mind adding in whoever is on site- one toilet and one shower is not my idea of fun I'm afraid, I'd hate knowing people are waiting for me!,
Netwood is too far from 'home' BOA where I'm aiming for. (Looks beautiful mind!)
Hmmm might need to look Mekksham/Trowbridge ways-
