I have camped with my own tent for many years but I now suffer from Fibromyalgia so have problems sorting out everything from setting up tent etc.
Has anyone tried the Ready erected Tents as I so love camping .

Yes, I have a friend who uses one, and he finds them so easy to use... it only requires having to bend to secure it into the ground, which is great as he's been able to continue enjoying the outdoors. So, from my friend's experience I would recommend that you try one?! Just make sure that you're aware that they are quite expensive sometimes

We had a fab time in a ready pitched tent at Overstrand campsite near Cromer last summer. It wasn't exactly glamping, though it was a fine and well equipped tent. I'd have been more comfortable in my own familiar tent, but we had some non-camping friends with us and needed something bigger.

The experience was a bit like hiring a holiday let which happened to be made of canvas - if that makes sense? It's got everything you need, but the kit's unfamiliar.

We arrived late and were quite pleased not to have all the pitching and pegging to do - just get the bedding in and open the wine. The pack up is just as stress-free of course and there's loads of room in the car because it's not full of tent.

The tents are always bomb proof spec because they have to cope with being up all season, so you don't need to worry about wind & weather.

Take a look at the pricing - you may find they're very expensive for weekenders but progressively cheaper per night for longer stays. We'll certainly do it again.

the camping and caravan club have ready tents had a look around the ones at barnard castle site they look fab have everything in them really big had own decked outside area. sorry don't know the cost

This photo was taken in France but we had a similar tent at the Camping and Caravan Club site at Teversal. Heating, lighting and cooking facilities make them incredibly comfortable.

This is how we got into camping. We stayed in a eurotent at Trevornick and loved it. Came home and bought our own tent. They're very well equipped and you still get the authentic camping experience without all the work.

I drove past the CCC site at Verwood in Dorset the other day and they had about 6 of them set up, looking like the one in the pic above

Not seen any in the UK, but when we were in France with the caravan a couple of years ago, had a look in a Eurotent, and have to say I was very impressed. I could actually stay in one, and I always said I'd never stay in a tent. Very spacious, all facilities, everything you would want or need.
